Kubiak Swimming Pools is a locally owned business that designs, builds and services swimming pools of all sizes. We are currently in the process of expanding operations and will soon be relocated in our new facility on Enterprise Drive in the east De Pere Business Park. This expansion and move will allow us to better serve our clients as we continue to focus on providing excellent service and building long lasting relationships with our customers.
Kubiak Builders was founded in 1951 by Gerald Kubiak. Residential home construction was the focus of the business until 1961. During that year, ten residential swimming pools were constructed in and around Green Bay. By 1963, Gerald discontinued home construction, and swimming pools became the lifeblood of our company. By the time Gerald retired in 1980, nearly twelve hundred pools, both residential and commercial, had been built in and around the state of Wisconsin. Retail and service operations were developed during that time, as well.
Ken Kubiak was the head of operations from the time of his father's retirement in 1980, until the end of the year 2000. Ken learned the business from childhood on, working side by side with Gerald. Ken worked as a construction foreman for 16 years and has vast experience in the design and construction of pools. He has innovated practices and techniques that are still unique to the industry today.
John Kubiak took the company over from his father Ken in 2000. By doing so, became a third generation owner of Kubiak Swimming Pools. Having been raised in the family business, John has an extensive background in the swimming pool design and construction industry. John was a swimming pool construction job supervisor for nine years before working into an upper management position which included day to day business operations. In addition to supervising and coordinating construction projects, John worked hands-on at the site to oversee every phase of construction.
Kubiak Swimming Pools, Inc. currently employs approximately 25 full-time employees as well as several seasonal and part-time personnel. We are committed to providing a positive work environment in which employees are treated honestly and fairly, and have the opportunity to develop and enhance their skills.
In 2005, Kubiak Swimming Pools constructed a brand new facility in De Pere, WI and moved all operations to that site. The 12,000 sf facility houses the corporate offices and a showroom featuring state-of-the-art in-ground pool displays.
The showroom is designed to assist our clients in the decision making process as they are able to experience first hand almost every option and amenity available to them.
